COVID-19 Only the Beginning
COVID -19 which has turned out to be a monster has alerted every nook and corner of the planet on more threats of this nature to unfold in the future.
Several fatal diseases such as Plague, Ebola and SARS had appeared in various parts of the world in the past. However, unlike other life-threatening diseases, COVID-19 which firstly originated from Wuhan Province in China and currently found in its severest form in Italy, has thrown a huge challenge to mankind throughout the globe.
Scientists and sociologists, even from the so-called highly developed countries are clueless as to how best COVID -19 could be eradicated.
Despite the international community utilising all its resources from the time COVID-19 erupted from the Wuhan Province, world-renowned researchers and the WHO are helpless in successfully treating patients diagnosed with the deadly disease.
In several countries, even medical staff who dealt with COVID -19 patients had perished due to lack of proper medication and precautionary measures.
However, the good news has now emerged from Wuhan, where COVID -19 originated two months ago, is that the country has successfully curtailed the pandemic by introducing stringent measures soon after the disease sprouted in the Province.
People in the Wuhan Province started moving around freely in the region and factories, which had halted their activities, have resumed operations.
The latest report from Wuhan points out that a factory which produced face masks in the Province has now increased production to be sent to countries in need of face masks and soon after the factory resumed production, more than a million face masks had been flown to Athens, the capital of Greece a few days ago.
The recovery of Wuhan Province from COVID-19 has indicated that the Chinese Province remains exemplary, and other countries could also follow in coming out of the threat posed by the pandemic.
Meanwhile, according to renowned sociologists worldwide, though COVID -19 remains a huge threat to mankind and making the entire world to be placed on a `war footing', the pandemic has also made mankind to come out of all sorts of petty differences and think globally to overcome the disastrous situation focusing on COVID -19 - the common enemy.
