At a recent event at which the UK-based Northumbria University’s BSc Honours Degree in biotechnology was launched in Sri Lanka, Minister of Science, Technology and Research Susil Premajayantha outlined the plan of his Ministry to take Sri Lanka toward emerging sciences, also known as emerging technologies.
