Let’s see when we come to power – Namal threatens the SLFP organizers

News reaching us confirms that Galle district SLFP organizer Thisara Gunasinghe has lodged a complaint to the Hikkaduwa police against UPFA parliament MP Namal Rajapaksa for threatening him.

Thisara Gunasinghe said that Namal Rajapaksa threatened him during a wedding ceremony.

 

Gunasinghe said, Namal Rajapaksa who participated for a wedding ceremony yesterday 23rd in Hikkaduwa called him to a side and questioned as to why I decided not to support the joint opposition but the government.

 

Following that Namal Rajapaksa has said that Namal Rajapaksa said “we will soon come to power. Let us see what happens to you all when we come to power” and threatened him.

 

Subsequently Thisara Gunasinghe has immediately lodged a complaint to the Hikkaduwa police and to the Colombo CID regarding the incident. Thisara Gunasinghe is the son of former SLFP parliamentarian Nanda Gunasinghe. Recently president Maithripala appointed Thisara Gunasinghe as the organizer for the SLFP in Galle
