President inquire about the well being of the displaced people in Jaffna

President Maithripala Sirisena visited Jaffna yesterday the 20th to celebrate the Christmas and went to a displaced camp situated in the Thiruppunai area in Jaffna and inquired the wellbeing of the people living.
The President who immediately visited the place when reported and the people in the camp welcomed the president with great vigor and briefed their suffering and urged the president to save them from the current plight and give a solution for their sufferings. The people urged the president to resettle them in their original places and briefed the president the immense stress they undergo without jobs for the past 25 years.
The President who visited a temporary built house nearby and inquired the well being of the people and had a cordial chat with the people living.
State minister Wijayakala Maheswaran, MP. Angajan Ramanathan and group of people participated.
