Why the Good Governance including Mangala is quiescent against the corruption of Jaliya?

Sri Lankans living in the United States has written a letter to the foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera disclosing all discrepancies of the cousin brother of the former president, Jaliya Wicramasooriya when he was serving as the ambassador of Sri Lanka in the United States.
They have requested the minister to conduct an independent inquiry into the alleged discrepancies of the latter and to acquire the lost reputation of Sri Lanka
