Jeevan & Vasu to Maithri

According to reliable sources the Minister of Postal Services Jeevan Kumaranatunga and Minister of National Languages and Social Integration Vasudeva Nanayakkara are to join the campaign for the common candidate Maithripala Sirisena.

Minister Kumaranatunga had stated he would not leave Mahinda faction and Minister Nanayakkara had said he would support Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa. However, the standpoint of both these ministers has now changed say sources.

Minister Nanayakkara has told associates that he would have to take a decision as what’s happening in the country indicate that Mahinda Rajapaksa regime is heading towards a dictatorship.
