Wagista meets AG to send Mangala behind bars!

Officers of the State Intelligence Service (SIS) are working overtime to arrest and imprison UNP communication unit head, Matara district MP, former foreign affairs minister Mangala Samaraweera, on a charge of having revealed state secrets, internal sources of the SIS say.
Accordingly, SIS chief, DIG Chandra Nimal Wagista, his officials and a team of lawyers had gone through until around 2.00 am today (25) the provisions in the Prevention of Terrorism Act, State Secrets Act etc. after gathering all evidence against MP Samaraweera.
Taking these evidence and acts supporting their objective, Wagista has gone to meet attorney general Palitha Fernando and is holding further discussions, the sources add.
