Rajapakses and LTTE stand shoulder to shoulder –GL says international investigators disallowed to come
(Lanka-e-News- 09.April.2014, 7.00PM) Sri Lanka Rajapakse regime foreign Minister Dr. G.L.Peiris stated officially that no assistance will be extended to the international investigation into the monumental human rights violations committed by the ruling regime and the LTTE terrorists . This investigation was recommended by the UN human rights council (UNHRC) following its adoption of a resolution on a vote taken at its sessions. The Minister added that neither the investigation team nor any individual will be allowed to enter the country in that regard.
Dr. Peiris made this announcement at a media briefing held day before yesterday(07) afternoon with the participation of foreign journalists. Even after the rejection internationally of the foolish and fake arguments advanced that UN High Commissioner or the UN HRC has no legal foundation to conduct an international investigation as regards SL , this buffoon of a Minister had indulged in this tomfoolery. This asinine Minister reiterated the stand that if a mechanism is established here to conduct an international probe into the crimes , SL will not extend any support towards it.
He added that no opportunity will be provided for such a team or its members to arrive in SL , and the SL government is not prepared to support such an investigation (impliedly exposing the guilt).
The prospective international investigation clearly includes the crimes such as murders , abductions and assaults committed on the media personnel as well as arson committed on Media Institutions in SL. It also includes the murder of innocents , bus explosions and heinous crimes committed by the LTTE. Despite these terms and conditions being so clearly stipulated in the proposed investigation , the SL media coolies and lackeys of the regime are relentlessly and regularly reporting that this investigation is aimed against SL.
SL regime’s consent or dissent is irrelevant to this international investigation ; yet by not extending support to it , it is very evident the Rajapakse regime is directly protecting not only the criminals of the country but even the LTTE terrorists , whereby the interests and dignity of the law abiding citizens are compromised most gravely.
