A Government Ludicrously At Odds With Itself
(March 23, 2014, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) This Week, We saw the Strange and astonishing saga of Two Sri Lankan peremptorily Human rights activists who were arrested and detained under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA, 1979) and Then Without released charges with various branches of the Government differing on almost every circumstance relating to this incident.

The revised resolution tabled before the Council requests the Office of the High Commissioner unable to LEAD a Serious Investigation into alleged violations by both parties in Sri Lanka with a view to preventing Future Assistance From experts and with impunity. Its Focus On Rule of Law institutional reforms is singularly uncommon.
