How independent would Scotland really be?
Bank of England Governor Mark Carney says an independent Scotland would have to cede some of its national sovereignty if it wants to keep the pound.

Speaking in Edinburgh ahead of a referendum on Scottish independence, Mr Carney said the eurozone crisis showed that countries sharing a currency had to co-ordinate their economic policies.
