A firearm solves the mystery of 11 robberies

The Special Investigations unit of Mirihana Police has arrested an individual for the possession of a T 56 fire arm and 21 bullets.
The 36 year–old suspect has been identified as a resident of Alubomulla, Paqnadura.
Following the information revealed after questioning the suspect the police have arrested two more persons in possession of a revolver, a "T katas" fire arm and 3 bullets.
In further questioning the three arrested, they have revealed information about 11 robberies they have been involved in around the country.
Mirihana police are conducting further investigations into the incident. (Ceylon Today Online)
