Repercussion severe, if not respected UN, Karu Jayasooriya warns government

If government do not take heed to the continuous request made by the UN and Commonwealth nation by disregarding the country's main crisis, it will have to face serious consequence in the forthcoming year was the warning given by United National Party parliament member Karu Jayasooriya.

Mahanayaka Theros and other religious leaders of this country is contempt by the government and this attitude will very soon originate repercussion, and government should consider this was mentioned by him.
According to the desire of some state officials, do not execute judiciary and legal formalities. Out of all consider to give preference to people’s sovereignty this will only protect the rule of the law which he further said.
If people lose confidence in government’s three pillars, it will create disturbance. Government by changing its attitude, should respect the law was further mentioned by him.
He recalled an incident, “one of the Minister drove his vehicle on the wrong side and by colliding with the vehicle which came in the opposite direction had threatened the vehicle driver to abstain from complaining” Karu Jayasooriya said, this is a good example to which extend law in this country is respected.
The law of this country is adjusted today to the government and his accomplices in one way and others in a different way. To retain the democracy of this country, Government should realize the activity of judiciary is important which he mentioned.
