Oil lamps refrained to light in university

Minister Kehiliya Rambukelle said, there is no restriction for the four Jaffna university students to light lamps commemorating their relations and their blood relations, but they should do it in their homes.
Jaffna university students are arrested. Until their release, the other students are boycotting the sessions. Hence the education activities are completely hampered. What is your opinion regarding this issue, was queried from Minister and in reply he made the above statement.
They have lighted lamps in Jaffna university compound, students’ hostels. Tiger movement holdings were discovered.
Tiger movement is prohibited. They have lighted lamps to the tigers killed from war. This cannot be permitted. Law and order is common to everyone. Students should adopt this.
He said students who deviated law and order, disciplinary action had been taken.
