UN 'failed to protect Sri Lanka refugees'
The UN is promising to learn from its mistakes, after a scathing internal report accused the world body of failing to protect civilians during Sri Lanka's civil war.Tens of thousands of people were killed in the final months of fighting between government forces and the Tamil Tigers.
