A/Level Z-score issue due to the President’s hurry
Saturday, 18 August 2012

The official said the President has rejected the request made by professors involved in calculating the results for more time since the calculation of Z-scores had to be done separately.
He added that the President even initiated a media campaign over the delay in releasing the A/Level results through the private media. It has now been revealed that the President has urgently pushed for the release of A/Level results ignoring concerns rasied by the two Education Ministers due to a personal reason.
A student who sat for last year’s A/Level exam had met the President and said he was unable to travel overseas to commence university education due to the delay in releasing the examination results. The student’s father is a close friend of the President.
The President has called on the officials to immediately release the examination results afterwards.
The respective student is currently studying overseas.
