 (Lanka-e-News-06.July.2012, 7.30PM) It is revealed that the Attorney General’s Dept (AG) that ought to be in the vanguard of ensuring that justice prevails and laws are implemented duly in the best interests of the law abiding citizens of the country , is instead standing tall and shamelessly naked to protect criminals and promoting criminalities in the country, according to reports reaching Lanka e news.The CID is expected to submit a further report to the courts today (6) relating to the notorious criminal Julampitiya Amare alias Geegana Gamage Amarasena the suspect in the ghastly murders committed at Katuwana recently . What had rudely shocked all was , the instructions given by the Solicitor General to the senior Deputy Director SSP S .R D Wijesuriya , and Shani Abeysekera , not to disclose the past crime records in the police of Amare in the additional report to the courts. The solicitor General had also told them that Amare was not arrested and he had surrendered only in regard to the four warrants issued on him , and to include only those details in the additional report to the court. There are other suspects in the Katuwana murders, and not to include Palitha Fernando a murderer as a suspect in this report, he had added. While this fabricated report is to be submitted to court today , Namal Rajapakse the one and only synthetic Lawyer of SL has arranged a most notorious pro MaRa Lawyer Hemantha Warnakulasooriya to appear on behalf of Julampitiya Amare. Namal had chosen this Lawyer, who also appeared on behalf of Duminda Silva the prime suspect in the quadruple murder which took the life of Baratha Lakshman. The deputy Director of the CID referring to the most deplorable illegal instructions given by this Solicitor General who would even remove his dress and stand nude in public if that can please the Rajapakses , had told his colleagues and friends , ‘by obeying the instructions of this unscrupulous solicitor General who hasn’t even an atom of shame in him , we feel guilty to face our own children’. |
