Joolampitiye Amare has met his waterloo when he attacked the JVP meeting held at Katuwana said JVP Parliamentarian Anura Dissanayake adding that the struggle would not be stopped until the murderers are brought before the law.
He said this addressing the masses after the end of an agitation held at Katuwana to protest against the killings, to demand the government to arrest the murderers and bring them before the law.
Speaking further Mr. Dissanayake said, “The murderers are before our eyes. Even children know who is responsible for the murders. The government and the police depend on taxes levied from the people. We ask the police whether they are prepared to strip naked before an underworld thug and betray the dignity of the force. The Director General of the MCNS and the police spokesman come out with fabrications to protect murderers.
The JVP is a political movement that sacrificed more than 60,000 lives on behalf of the rights of the people in this country. No one can stop our struggle. We carry out our struggle today at Katuwana, tomorrow in Colombo and from there onwards in several towns in other countries. Hundreds and thousands of masses who cherish freedom and democracy would rally around this struggle.  We invite all people to come forward to end the worthless and immoral Rajapaksa regime.”
