(Lanka-e-News-03.Dec.2011, 11.55PM) TNA M. P. Suresh Premachandran speaking to Lanka e news said , the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) had withdrawn from the series of discussions which were held between it and the Govt. There had been 14 rounds of discussions to resolve the national issue , but so far , as there was no solution found despite the issue revolving around small and simple requests , the TNA had decided to withdraw from the discussions which are serving no purpose and unavailing , Premachandran pointed out.
The Govt. had not furnished even a single answer to any of the questions asked by the TNA pertaining to the thousands of the people who had been re settled.
Suresh Premachandran said , at today’s discussions at the Temple Trees , the TNA withdrew from them after informing the Govt.
