Rs. 11000 million more to buy cars & tours for politicos & officialdom

Another supplementary estimate for Rs. 11,000,000,000 has been presented to Parliament on the 5th to buy vehicles for ministries and departments, for foreign tours and to pay salaries.

The estimate was presented by the Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella.

Rs. 7,498,483,793 has been entered as re-current expenditure while Rs. 3,508,991,552 has been put down as financial expenditure.

Rs. 130 million has been allocated for foreign tours by the ministry and departmental officials while Rs.100 million has been allocated to buy vehicles.
