Sri Lanka: Danger of Closed Economy: Lesson learned from Pre-1977

It is intended to draw attention to the negative effects of a closed Economy which we may be heading for. The need to have a strategy to balance between liberalisation and control, with adjustments from time to time, and close monitoring, has to be recognized.
