20/09/2017“In view of this proposed amendment in respect pf certain provincial Council the terms will be extended beyond 5 years and in respect of some Provincial Council the term will be curtailed. in both ways it was submitted that franchise will be affected. ” says the Supreme court determination on the proposed 20th amendment to the constitution of Sri Lanka.
