The ‘Collective to Protect Hambantota People’s Rights’ held an agitation opposite District Secretariat at Hambanthota today (23rd) against the attempt of the government to make available 15,000 acres from Hambanthota to Chinese investors.
A large number of agitators carrying agricultural tools participated.
The Member of the Political Bureau of the JVP K.D. Lal Kantha and the JVP Member of Parliament for Hambanthota District Nihal Galappaththi were also present.
