AG serves corrupt judge with indictments!

Following the recent article we published under the headline ‘AG in cohorts with corrupt judge!’, corrupt Supreme Court Sarath Abrew was on Thursday (19) served with indictments, signed by attorney general Yuvanjan Wanasundara Wijetilake, say AG’s Department sources.

The indictment accuses Abrew of illegal detention, assault, causing injury by beating with firearm and sexual harassment.

 

Although Abrew tried to cover up the criminal charges against him by saying that he was retiring, impartial and honest officers of the AG’s Department and the CID mediated to serve him with indictments even after five months, which is a true victory, the officers who gave us the details said.

 

We acknowledge AG Wijetileke for having taken the steps, although belatedly, to ensure justice.
