July 7, 2014 The Chairman of the Dehiowita Pradeshiya Sabha has forcibly taken a bus from seizers which have been seized by a finance company on 4th July.
This act has been reported as a robbery. The Chairman of Dehiowita Pradeshiya Sabha is to be arrested for robbery and he is away from the area now.
Two police constables who have been with the chairman and another suspect were arrested yesterday.
Suspects are due to be produced before Avissawella magistrate court today.
Avissawella police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
Main suspect identifies for deceiving women via internet

A suspect who had decietfully taken money from a girl on the promise of marring her had been identified by an investigation conducted by Matara Crime Investigation Unit.
Suspect had taken information of the girl through a marriage proposal advertisement and contacted the girl via her Skype account and e-mail account.
Two suspects have been arrested on the incident in Punagar area and the main suspect had been identified based on information revealed by them.
Reportedly the person known as Prithi Viraj Rathnayake or Prithi viraj Amarasinghe who is currently living in Malaysia has identified as the main suspect of the organized gang who cheat money from girls on the promise of marring them.
Actions have been taken to issue red notice to arrest the suspect by international police.
