MR moved by BBS statement of toppling government

BBS General Secretary Ven. Galagodaththe Gnanasara Thero said at a news conference that the organization could topple the government if it wanted.
The matter was made worse when the Malwatte mahanayake asked Ven. Gnanasara Thero yesterday to address the issue of toppling the government as stated by the BBS.

Ministry officials said that after staging a protest outside the building some of the protesters led by a monk went inside and searched the rooms.

The BBS has accused the venerable Ven. Vijitha Thero of working with Minister Bathiudeen to illegally settle several displaced Muslims in the Wilpattu national park.
President Rajapaksa today said that a special Police unit would be established within the Religious Affairs Ministry to inquire complains on religious matters.
