Full Text Of The Five Judge SC Bench Ruling On CJ Shirani Bandaranayake Impeachment Case

A Bench comprised Justices Saleem Marsoof, Chandra Ekanayake, Sathya Hettige, Eva Wanasundara, and Rohini Marasinghe ruled that the writ issued by the Court of Appeal nullifying Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake removal was null and void. We publish below the full text of the five judge Supreme Court bench appointed by de facto Chief Justice Mohan Pieris, a direct beneficiary of the Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake sacking last year.
