Tamil Nadu authorities today (November 13) demolished the compound wall and removed a park at the Vellamullivaikkal Memorial in Thanjavur, built to commemorate those who died in the area in the war in Sri Lanka, Authorities claimed that they were constructed on encroached highway land, triggering instant protests by pro-Eelam activists including P.
