Let’s build revolutionary Marxist – Leninist Party that could lead the anti-imperialist, anti- capitalist struggle – Somawansa Amarasinghe

The capitalist crisis is deepening and the capitalist system is plunging into a systemic crisis. The resistance of the oppressed people against capitalism will emerge and intensify in individual countries in all forms of class struggle, namely, electoral form and also in other forms such as marches, protests, sit ins and strikes. In certain countries the resistance will take the form of armed struggles said the Leader of the JVP Somawansa Amarasinghe addressing the international communist seminar held in Wavre, Belgium from 31st May 2013 to 2nd June 2013.
He said the contemporary crisis of Imperialism and Capitalism is sharpening and its onslaught on the people needs to be confronted with increased revolutionary vigour ideologically and organizationally. Mr. Amarasinghe said, “Let us defeat opportunism and build the true class conscious revolutionary Marxist – Leninist Party that could lead the anti-imperialist, anti- capitalist struggle in individual countries and unite them at international level to defeat the domination of the finance capital.”
