 (Lanka-e-News -06.March.2013, 9.00PM) Duminda Silva has returned to the Island this dawn following the arrangements made by Gota and Sachin Vaas Gunawardena. Based on Katunayake airport reports reaching Lanka e news , Duminda had arrived by plane EK 349 of the Emirates airlines service. In the same plane Sachin Vaas too had arrived with him.
At the time of arrival the whole airport had been beefed up with security so much so that even the workers at the airport who are in readiness to take invalids were sent away, with the whole airport looking totally deserted. An ambulance had taken Duminda from the airport via the back door secretly while as part of the intensified security blanket , a number of heavily guarded Montero and defender vehicles amidst heavy security were parked until Duminda was taken out from the airport.
Why was Kudu Duminda who is supposed to be a patient dispatched unlike a patient and secretly ? the airport staff questioned in amazement. . Meanwhile political inside sources say , Duminda Silva was brought home urgently because , at the on going Geneva conference if the brothers and sisters of murdered Baratha Lakshman and their group raise questions , Duminda has to file answers and that was why he was got down .
It is also believed that MaRa regime is trying to kill two birds with one stone : one – to show that the Baratha Lakshman murder investigations are being duly carried out ; and the other – by remanding Duminda Silva , repudiate the serious charges that are being mounted that the moth eaten MaRa regime is inventing laws , overturning judicial courts into parana (worn out) coats and judges into turncoats
Based on confidential information leaks , by remanding Duminda Silva he is not going to be allowed to suffer , and he can even be in the Nawaloka Hospital happily. . But the remanding of him is to facilitate the absolute security the Rajapakses can provide him when he is in remand custody.
In the circumstances , it is very evident that the dispatch of kudu Duminda out of the country and getting him back are two parts of the same spurious drama of the Rajapakses.
UPFA Parliamentarian and murder suspect in Police custody at Nawaloka- March 6, 2013
 Silva, UPFA Member of Parliament and suspect in the murder of SLFP strongman Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra, was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department after he returned to Sri Lanka early yesterday.
Silva travelled from Singapore to Colombo on Emirates flight EK349 and landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport at 1:40 a.m.  yesterday. He was admitted to Nawaloka Hospital for treatment upon his arrival. The CID arrested Silva around 10 a.m. yesterday and he continues to remain in hospital under Police security. Silva has been remanded until 14 March when the case is to be taken up at the Colombo Magistrate Court.
Duminda Silva has been receiving medical treatment in Singapore after suffering injuries in the shootout that killed Premachandra on the day of the Colombo local government elections in October 2011. The Attorney General’s Department recently instructed the CID to file charges against Silva and 12 other suspects in the Premachandra murder case.
