Tight security has been provided to the opening ceremony of berth port of Nainatheevu. People were forced to wait for 3 hours, last evening

Event organizers ordered people to raise national flag during the arrival of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Journalists from the Jaffna peninsula are not permitted to enter the Nagavihara site. Journalist from state media and Colombo were permitted to enter the site, sources said.
