Minister Hewa Koparage Mervyn Silva today rode a Motorcycle without a helmet. In Sri Lanka it is illegal to ride without wearing a helmet. Silva’s bike ride was about 4km around Kiribathgoda.

i still remember when president MR opened the southern expressway, he took the first drive to declare open and at that time i remember him not wearing the seatbelt…he was sitting next to the first lady and televisions showed the video..so law is only for the common man?
