Joolampitiye Amare has met his waterloo when he attacked the JVP meeting held at Katuwana said JVP Parliamentarian Anura Dissanayake adding that the struggle would not be stopped until the murderers are brought before the law.
He said this addressing the masses after the end of an agitation held at Katuwana to protest against the killings, to demand the government to arrest the murderers and bring them before the law.
The JVP is a political movement that sacrificed more than 60,000 lives on behalf of the rights of the people in this country. No one can stop our struggle. We carry out our struggle today at Katuwana, tomorrow in Colombo and from there onwards in several towns in other countries. Hundreds and thousands of masses who cherish freedom and democracy would rally around this struggle. We invite all people to come forward to end the worthless and immoral Rajapaksa regime.”
