Australian officials met Mullaitivu people
People at the Koppaipilavu area in the Mulliativu district brief their problems to Australian opposition party members today.
People noted they were resettled in forest on last November and for the past four months they all face hardships to full fill their essential needs and also to find job opportunities in these areas.
Australian delegates hold discussions with people and monitor their activities for 20 minutes.
Members of the military intelligence unit continuously monitor the activities of people. Due to this people face difficulties and fear to brief their problems to Australian officials.
People further noted military personals never allow us to visit our own lands and houses. They pledge officials to resettle them in their own lands.
At last officials informed TNA Parliamentarian C.Sridharan that necessary steps would be taken to solve problems of these people.
